
Senior Service Engineer
Responsibilities
-
Provide service and repair at site for assigned customers.
-
Repair and calibrate equipment at site or in the workshop.
-
Promote and project Emerson’s service capability and support to customers.
-
Build rapport and establish good working relationships with customers to ensure quality service and support.
-
Promote and project Emerson’s service capability and provide goodwill technical or application support as requested by the division BDM to strengthen our position at the account.
-
Obtain feedback on the performance of Emerson’s products for analysis.
-
Provide customer support for warranty and out-of-warranty issues.
-
Assist in problem resolution for customers and internal staff on service-related matters, ensuring fast escalation and thorough follow-through for customer satisfaction.
-
Prepare service reports and manage other administrative matters.
-
Conduct site surveys for sales estimation.
-
Maintain the physical upkeep of tools, calibrators, and work areas.
-
Define, design, schedule, install, start up, and commission system projects and related products.
-
Conduct customer training courses on operation, configuration, and maintenance.
-
Provide engineering support to sales personnel.
-
Prepare articles on new applications, successful installations, and new engineering techniques or enhancements.
-
Assist the Service Manager, System Engineering Manager, and Project Manager with assigned tasks.
-
Focus on understanding customer needs and solving problems to improve customer satisfaction.
-
Extend expertise to new Emerson products.
-
Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
-
Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
​
Experience
-
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the process control industry.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
